I have been ripped by Jamie Rupert. It has been almost a month since he last got in contact with me, and I have sent him e-mails etc (his address isn't in his profile, but a quick scan shows he is davvol@fastmail.ca - he told me in an IM, the medium from which we worked out our trade).I sent the cards to him almost a month ago now, and I have mailed him my address etc, and yet I am yet to receive any cards or any further contact with Jamie since July the 11th. I have sent him four warnings (of a post here on the BTA board), and two by e-mail, and I am yet to receive any sort of reply/response or any idea of what state the trade is in. I am posting him here in an attempt to get to the bottom of this, and find out whether I have been ripped or what, but I think that since I have given him four weeks and heard nothing from him that either he is ripping me or it may be conceivable that he has simply gone on holiday and not informed me. I'll keep you posted. __________________

The auction I won is at http://www.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/013520.html, and a search for his other auctions produces a number of people who are in a similar situation to me, and are yet to receive their cards. There are other people out there who have been ripped by this person, and I am in the process of getting in touch with them.I sincerely hope there is a logical explanation for this. __________________

lord davvol ripped me off as well..
he owe's me 2 foil rage and 2 foil vindicate. this was from the same auction as above... i have the e-mails that i sent him...but i don't have his replies, cuz aol mail deletes everything after your 30 most recent e-mails... but it keeps up to 70 of your sent mails (those are the one's i have)... leaving me with no evidence...but my word... ***DO NOT TRADE WITH THIS PERSON***

Please post the physical address that you received from this trader so I can hunt him. There is no active email on his profile which tells me that email contact will likely be unsuccessful. Also, there is an old member with name Davvol who lists the same physical location as Lord_Davvol. I have posted a warning on all posts by Lord Davvol and am pursuing other leads as well. Hiya! This member has now been banned for having multiple accounts on MOTL: Lord_Davvol and DarkDrizzt. I hope that he will choose to do the right thing and possibly avoid the legal consequences of his actions. If I hear anything, I'll let you know. I recommend that you go talk to your postal inspector so you know exactly what to do to prosecute this felony if we don't hear anything from him.__________________

inca..this guy jipped me out of 2 foil vindicate N 2 foil rage... i sent him half my binder...please see what you can do... it's been a couple of months now... i've sent him at least 20 e-mails that have ben ignored... i would show tha whole e-mail bit, but not only were they erased by aol...but i just got a new aol account, so my e-mail was cleared...unless there's a way to recall e-mail from my other account...

Please contact AOL to see what they can do on the whole email thing. My problem is that without evidence, I can't really do much. Anyone could start posting here that they lost cards so if you have no proof, I can't do anything. That does not mean that you can't do something. You can always file for mail fraud, because there may be multiple complaintants and a preponderance of their evidence might help you. Anyway, I cannot accuse someone of wrongdoing without proof. Contact AOL and please email me or post the results of your discussion with that provider. __________________

I would help you and file for mail fraud aswell, but the USPS only covers America, right? Where do we have to go to complain about Canadian mail fraud?I didn't post registered, but I have many, many witnesses who can testify to me sending the cards out, and all of our MOTL discussions through IMs and PMs. I am pretty sure I have adequate evidence if this were to become a legal battle, and since he ripped multiple people I think filing for mail fraud would be the best course of action. But I don't know how to do it against people who live in Canada, so any info would be appreciated. __________________
