I do take online trading very seriously and will mail out the day i recieve ur cards. Ben1983 Member	posted July 26, 2001 02:49 PM Hi , Kkotelinski is doing something becuase i mailed him his cards u can email my refernces , i have traded 2 power nine cards to people who sent first to me and i didnt rip them for the $100+ in cards they sent me so its safe to say im not gonna rip for the $15 trade me and k kotelinski made. Also he never even emailed me about it afterwards when i asked him for a reference (u often do that to people u rip) about 3 weeks after the trade he told me to mail again cuz he didnt get the cards i belive that he got my cards and was just trying to get me to send out twice.

I dont understand how u can say its my resposibility to send cards agauin to k tolenski when i know i sent them and as planinchron sais the psot office doesnt lose cards, also the situation is reversed with palinchron cuzh e sais he sent but i dont htink i got them anyways i know i sent to kevin and the post office doesnt lose mail im not sending the same mail twice im fairly sure hes just rying to mise as far as plainchron and and jesterroff email me about the trades and well try and figure it out, palninchron email me ur name and address and ill chekc through my envoloeps again to double check , jester rooff emial em what our trade was and ill talk to u about it ect. Ben1983 Member	posted August 01, 2001 12:29 PM like kevin heres my situation , i know i sent the cards so possible options are u hobnestly didnt get them or ur lying, u may be telling the truth but first off i have no way of knopwibng secondly i havent ever heard of tghe post office losing stuff and thirdly i would be sending the same cards twice either way which is terrible, maybe we can work something out but i dont want to mail out a second morplinh and a second $5 im sure u can understand that. email me maybe we can work another trade in ur favor or something i dunno but im sure u can see my dilema here.

Anyway, it's the sender's responsibility to make sure their cards arrived. If your cards have not arrived you are responsible to either replace them or return k_kotelniski's cards.

Ben1983: Unfortunately that is possible, however if you make a habit of "not receiving" people's cards you'll make it extremely difficult for yourself to trade here. Not to mention that if a trend appears people can still file mail fraud charges against you even if they don't have proof of receipt. The mail fraud inspectors look for trends involving the same person. The rules are set this way because the sender has the option of sending registered and obtaining delivery confirmation. No such option is available to the recipient. If you send unregistered it costs you less, but you also take the risk that you will be held accountable if the cards do not arrive. They usually do a great job, but there are chances that things get lost. That is why they have things like postal insurance and delivery confirmation. I want to add another note: ever since august 1st when ben and i agreed on our final trade he hasn't emailed me back or made any communication w/ me. I've also had email service problems w/ verizon but I emailed ben on my hotmail servie and I still haven't received any emails so if he tries to pull that excuse it is not justifiable. Ben1983 Member	posted August 22, 2001 09:44 PM hi i go away to gps alot and im not ignoring any emails, i recently got back my cards that i sent dave due to poor packaging, i taped over the stamp like a retard and i will be sending out to him again tommorow, i emailed k kotelenski as we have a more difficult situation cuz i sent to him and did not get my cards back and he is saying he didnt get them so maybe hes tellign the truth but ifi send to him even if he is im basically getting ripped becuase im sending the same cards twice anyways dave needs to be patient and i apoligize for being dumb sometiemsi rush things off beforei leave for a trip or whatnot, kevin needs to email me and well discuss resolvingh our situation.

Plus, they aren't babysitters, but they are concerned with your problem. There is a lot YOU can do though, like filing mail fraud forms, contacting your post office about tracing packages, etc. The mods do try to email the person you have a complaint with, but if emails are not answered, what do you expect them to do? Squizz can't hop on a plane from Australia and come over to the US, slap around a few members, get some stolen cards back, return them to you and then be back in time for dinner. Also, it looks like Ben has posted a reply to you above. Email him again, this could be something very petty like he has stated: putting tape over the stamp. (the post office does not like that.)
