yeah i am comparing last year's stats though. Manning was underserving last year and if they went that low of standard then brady should be on it this year. This is more or less popularity contest - do you see the probowl voting? WTF adam viniteiri who played like 2 games got top vote for kicker.. i think coupld other guys who were injured like 80% of the time were out too. But i hope NO beats indy so i can stop hearing about manning... it is true pats didnt have a great record this year (although many teams would die for that record though...) due to this being a rebuilding year. I am frustrated their crappy CBs and still no good RBs...

Manning was unbeaten during the regular season, that is the most important stat. Lose zero games during the regular season and Brady wins the MVP. Patriot fans should understand that.

ummm manning was beaten last 2 games.... but i guess if the pats had couple more wins(didnt choke against indy) then maybe brady on the list.

Ummm...Manning played 1 half in each of those 2 games that meant absolutely nothing to them. They decided to rest and not got for 19-0 so let's just say "He was unbeaten during the regular season in games that he tried.

well it doesnt matter -you lose as a team with you included - you dont win as a single person either. So if colts lose he lost too unless he at the podium said "i didnt lose"? And what the colts did at the last 2 games where idiotic. Losing 15th and say "records dont matter" then come back on 16th to have dallas clark and reggie wayne break some record for 1/2 snaps! I really hoped they tear their acl or something for an idiotic move they pulled. But you gotta hand it to the colts for picking some decent weapons like garcon. As a pats fan i think we would've done better if our rookies didnt get injured so much - tate, mckenzie, edelman had promise. Oh well go Saints!!!

So what? If the Colts win the superbowl then you and everyone else to STFU. If they lose then they lost the superbowl so everything else is trivial. Remember when the patriots won all their games but lost the superbowl? They would pay anything to have lost two games and won the superbowl.

Manning was winning when he was pulled to rest the last 1 1/2 quarters against the Jets. Manning only played the 1st quarter against the Bills and the game was 7-7. His backup lost those games, Manning didn't. He was pulled to rest for the Playoffs. In Baseball, if the starter is pulled when he is ahead or tied, he doesn't lose the game if the team loses. Perhaps if the Patriots had rested their starters, they wouldn't have lost to the Giants.

Anyone ever been to the superbowl? I'm going and was wondering what all is worthwhile, besides of course the big game.

wow. arent those superbowl tickets like 10s of thousands? well i dont expect it to be any more different since it is the same coliseum, same expensive food/drink and probably less "fan" since the tickets are so high. Plus The WHO is playing - last time i read/heard about them was from junior high science/history books on music and how the guitarist went deaf for a while because the speakers were so loud...

That's not how Belichick rolls. Never has been, and the Patriots have three titles under him. __________________ *MafiaBass*Joshweek*Letter Bombs!*Prices*Gatherer*Logout*No More Rickrolls! “Reason is not automatic. Those who deny it cannot be conquered by it." -Ayn Rand

The patriots dynasty is clearly over so I am just anxious to see what the meta has in store for us.

It should come as a surprise to no one that Carrie Underwood will make it to a Super Bowl before Tony Romo.__________________ Born in America land of the free, for the right price that's how it will be. -MF Grimm

lol. Cant believe Romo dumped her... But you cant blame it all on Romo though. Next year the cowboys should be better while vikings probably be worse, cardinals on a freefall and eagles who knows? AFC might be more of the same next year though.

Steelers get a healthy Troy back and a mid round first round draft pick. Last time the steelers took a draft pick that high they were Troy and Ben. They're going to crush everyone. __________________ Born in America land of the free, for the right price that's how it will be. -MF Grimm

The differance in this game is going to the Saints running game. If they can get it going, they'll be able to keep Manning off the field. If they can't, the game will be a TD fest.Saints win 31-27

The Saints did it!! I knew they would pull it off! Shawn Payton is a coaching genuis! Nobody expected an onside kick comming out the half! I just got back in from New Orleans, we rented a room on Toulouse st and as soon as Porter got a pick six the entire city erupted! I have never seen anything like it in my life. Saints #1!!!! The Skizzikmonger Fail Post. There's one on every page. Seriously...anyone who thought the Colts were just going to roll over the Saints are/were stupid. The Saints have a better passing game, better WR's, better RB's, arguably better O-line, equal TE's. Drew Brees is almost as good as Peyton Manning is as a QB. The only thing I would have given to the Colts is they had a better Defense....when Dwight Freeney is healthy. Freeney was the one person that I KNEW could disrupt Brees and win that game for the Colts. I KNEW when he could barely play that the Colts were in SERIOUS trouble of losing that game, and they did. Dwight Freeney's health, to me, made the difference in that game.

I hate the whole "who dat?" thing. As if there weren't enough reasons already to think of New Orleans fans as a poorly educated, mostly ethnic group. My hat's off to Sean Payton. The Colts were playing not to lose, and the Payton, not Peyton, had the saints playing to win.

"Who Dat"'s a lyric from a pretty famous ragtime song. I think it may have been written by Scott Joplin who happens to be from NO.
