Watched part of the Blazers game last night, and looks like the Rockets need T-Mac back pretty badly. Portland winning after giving up 26 turnovers and nearly blowing a 20-point lead in the 3rd quarter was lucky, and they need to protect the ball a bit more to be successful.__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. This is going to be a long year for the 76ers . I wish we would have thrown the MLE at Sessions or kept Miller. Lou Williams... Shame we can't trade Sammy or Brand for a guard and start Young and AI as our forwards.

i think T-Mac is going to be traded away this season before the deadline. his contract is soon to be expired, and the cap relief is really attractive. hopefully, the rockets are going to suck really bad this year, get a high draft pick, and play strong next season when everyone is back.

I can hear the panic in Cleveland from Pittsburgh....Cavs are 0-2. Once again, LeBron puts up 40 and the rest of the team are just "whitnesses". To bad that doesn't work if you want to win.

Quick predictions: West: 1-Lakers 2-Nuggets 3-Spurs 4-Mavs 5-Blazers 6-Hornets 7-Jazz 8-Suns (it's the West. The only certainty is the Lakers will be the 1 seed)East: 1-Celtics 2-Magic 3-Cavs 4-Heat 5-Hawks 6-Bulls 7 & 8-It's the East. Who the Hell knows who will be the 7 & 8 seeds. West Finals: Lakers over Nuggets East Finals: Celtics over Magic NBA Finals: Celtics over Lakers Edit: Two games, and Denver is 2-0 in the division I can't possibly imagine why the NBA doesn't want this book to be published. Way to go Mr. Stern. All you're doing is confirming what Donaghy is saying. Tim Donaghy is the NBA's Jose Canseco

A lot of surprises in the past week.1.) OJ Mayo managed to put up a fight with Melo in a 40points performance. 2.) The Suns looks much better than last season, and everyone seems to be able to make 3 pointers at will, even Channing Frye! This guy has a career average of 0.3 three points attempt per game when he was in NY, and now he is taking almost 7 three points shots per game in the Sun's uniform. (he makes 65% of them too... ) Biggest Rip Off of the season...so far...Trevor Ariza! Everyone knows he could D, but no one knows he could score. The signing of RonRon instead of Ariza just looks much worst. __________________ "It was big. Really, really big. No, bigger than that. Even biger. Keepgoing. More. No, more. I think the Rockets were smart to get rid of Artest, I cannot imagine an entire year goes by without some sort of implosion on the Lakers given all of the egos they have. Ariza just seems like another Posey or Fox or Kukoc, a good complimentary player that makes too much money. My prediction of 82-0 for the Bulls is already off... They do look better without Gordon though, addition via subtraction.

Time for the Blazers to just cancel the NBA season and switch to wheelchair basketball. This is getting pretty bizarre. You know you're in trouble when even your coach has to take some time out to recover from an injury suffered during practice. Looks like Tolliver's whopping 4 total minutes of playing time all season, including 3 minutes last night to cover for Przybilla's injury, will shoot up, as he's the only center even left on the roster.__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. So, Gilbert Arenas was pretty stupid. On a related note: Should I drop Jameer Nelson for Randy Foye? 10 team, 10 starters, 3 bench league. Right now my team is: Rondo, Eric Gordon, Felton, Carmelo, Landry, Deng, Hilario, Al Jefferson, Anthony Randolph, Jameer Nelson, Jennings, David Lee, and Granger.

I hope the Bulls fire Del Negro. I'm tired of them not being able to finish games.

"I did nothing wrong." -Gilbert Arenas (aka Sgt Stupid) in a text message to a reporterFirst Billups, then Mello, and now Lawson. Who loves injuries? Good thing the Nuggets are deep, and are getting Billups back in time for Cleveland Friday night.

If anyone thinks the Cavs are just going to touch their toes in the East, you should think again. While they started off 0-2, they are on a nice littl2 28-7 run. They have played 4 more road games than home games, and have another road trip planned. They are also 16-3 against teams with winning records, which is what truly matters. The Lakers have played a measly 12 Road games (8-4).. well, they really play 43 Home games because they play the Clippers twice a year as the road team, but no one is a Clippers fan. The Celtics, Magic, and Hawks are formidable opponents, but... 1) Health will be a huge concern for the Celtics. 2) I don't think the Magic are as strong as they were last year and the Cavs did a fairly good job against them with the addition of Shaq. 3) The Hawks are still 'young' and do not have it together emotionally, as seen in the Home & Home with the Cavs a week ago. The Cavs will be getting Leon Powe back in a monthish, and they may be looking to trade for another player. The Cavs are the deepest team in the East, IMO, especially once they are healthy and fairly young (minus shaq).

The Cavs are extremely deep. They have LeBron James and about 9 players who are decent to good back-ups. The problem is 4 of those would be back-ups are starting.

Sadly for me, No Melo = Problem. Why? He's on my fantasy team. Glad to see Derrick Rose make the All-Star team. It can only help him hanging out with guys like Kobe, LeBron, Wade, etc.

Ouch. He'll be back tonight or the 11th though. I personally think he should sit until after the break so he's healthy and rested for the unofficial 2nd half and the playoffs. Billups should sit out the all star game too to get healthy.

Yeah, this is a short week with the ASG so I benched him to save myself the headache. I like fantasy sports and have for a while but man, they get so frustrating sometimes. With the injuries and coaches jerking around playing time or RB by committee. Just this season alone I've lost Oden, Granger for a stretch, and Melo for stretches. Not to mention being in a 10 team league there are 4 managers who haven't even checked their teams since November, one of them since the draft. I hate when my trading partners are limited. Not to mention everyone reads everything about fantasy sports so the same article I read that said buy low on player X is read by the same guy who owns player X and he won't even consider a trade for him because I should be trading for what he will be. Ah well.

Well, I was hoping Melo and Billups would get some rest before the All Star break and thanks to Dallas they did.

2nd night of a back to back after an intense game the night before? Last night 6 mavs were double-digit minutes, 5 of which were over 29, including 2 reserves playing 41 and 37 minutes. Tonight? 11 players in double digit minutes. They were tired. Denver hadn't played since Saturday and only had to travel from Salt lake city. Enjoy the win, and see you in the playoffs.

Do I need to call you and the Mavs a waaaaaambulance? There is no excuse for a division leading playoff team losing 127-91. You didn't hear me whine and cry after the Nuggets lost by 10 at Utah without Melo AND Chauncey the night after an intense game in LA did you? No, because that's not an excuse for a division leading playoff team to lose by 10 points to a division rival, and losing the 2nd game of a back to back by 36 because you're tired isn't an excuse either. And the Waaaaavericks will see Denver in the playoffs only if the Waaaaavericks get lucky and make it past the 1st round. Edit: Dallas: 2/8 @Golden State: W 127-117 2/9 @Denver: L 127-91 (with Kidd and Dirk) Denver: 2/5 @Lakers: W 126-113 (without Melo) 2/6 @Utah: L 116-106 (without Melo AND Chauncey) Let me reiterate, Dallas has NO excuse for last night's blow out loss.
