Find a job where you get paid to instruct people on how to lose money the slowest and then watch as their nest eggs dry up. It's a lot more fun than you think...

Restaurants are a sure fire way to make money. So easy making more than minimum if your not careless to your customers.

Got my wisdom teeth out this morning. Tongue and lower half of face are still completely numb, so as much as I'd like to eat something right now, it's pretty much physically impossible.

Is that why more than 75% of restaurants fail in the first 3 years?

Yes, actually. So don't do that and you might not fail in the first three years

It's more like 90%. I meant working as a server. If your restaurant goes under find another one. You will already have exp.

No, it's because you touch yourself at night.

Having had all my teeth removed, I can sympathize. Anything you can simply swallow without having to work your tongue or cheeks or lips much would probably be good.

Try applesauce or yogurt. Put a small amount on a spoon, tip your head back, and just try to swallow it straight off the spoon (don't swallow the spoon... or your tongue).

Good luck.

I've said it here before, but something you should not do is try to puree grilled chicken and corn. I did that when i got my braces tightened for the last time...

Coincidentally, I lost 5 lbs in 3 days due to starvation....

A good bartender must be sympathetic, affable, a good listener, able to mix drinks, and able to tell when it's time for a customer to stop drinking.

I know you have the first three down at least. I'm sure you can learn the other two.

Welcome back!

As long as you don't mind late nights and know when to cut somebody off you should do fine. All the rest will come with time.

Bartending is getting to be a dangerous job with all the lawsuits from brilliant people who think it's the bartender's fault they got drunk and decided to attack somebody or die from ingesting their own vomit. Doesn't help the courts are ruling in their favor. IMO the only time a bartender is responsible for another person's actions is if they a) spike a drink or b) sell to a minor.
