Edit: My problems in the political discussion and sports threads have to with me not reading. It's not that I can't, or won't read anything, it's that it's difficult for me because of NLD (Nonverbal Learning Disorder). I have trouble comprehending nonverbal communication (have had it for life, just diagnosed last Tuesday, won't start getting help for it until 12/2), but if someone were to verbally tell me whatever, I'd get it. For example, you could give me a report on, and supporting, man-made global warming and "An Inconvient Truth". I'd understand, comprehend, and grasp the info in the movie, and the report would be thrown out after reading a couple of pages.

So basically what you're saying is, "I don't read other people's posts, and now I'm going to lean on a learning disability crutch to excuse myself." Learning disorders do exist, and they are debilitating when found, but I am a skeptic about every third child being ADD or ADHD or whatever it's called these days. Most people who are prescribed with having a learning disorder are just, in fact, stupid. It's simple. Parents don't want to hear that their kid is stupid, so they push for a learning disorder (read: bull****) diagnosis.

Now, not having met you, I can't say for certain, but considering the copious times that you've completely failed to read a simple paragraph or even a sentence completely rebutting and negating your position, I am forced to conclude you are either profoundly afflicted with a learning disorder, which severely discredits anything you say by way of argument, or you are just stupid, which severely discredits anythign you say by way of argument, or that you are being deliberately stupid in order to push people's buttons, which (you guessed it) also severely discredits anything you say by way of argument. Either way, I don't know of any person on this board who takes you seriously.

Shrug. I'm dyslexic and I live with that. It's not easy, but I don't blame every one of my shortcomings on it. I refuse treatment and drugs because I believe that I am stronger than that. Oh, and by the way, I am acutely and personally aware of the effects of clinical major depression. Sack up. Don't be such a little girl.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you've known about, and how to deal with dyslexia for a lot longer than 6 days. I'm also going to assume that the clinical major depression was correctly diagnosed the first time, and not 3 1/2 years later.
