I'm sorry if pointing fingers at someone makes you feel better, but it solves no problems and local communities continue to fall apart as people drive suv's all over to jobs 40 minutes away and then blame some figure they see portrayed on TV. America will only improve if the American people discontinue seeing the Presidential election as four years of /win or /lose. 200m+ people working on a small scale can move the world, but with mass media, we somehow think our opinions each are worthy of supreme court decisions.Totally random rant, but reality check anyone? I sold my car, work near where I live, make the more environmentally-friendly choice I can when I can sacrifice the time/convenience, and haven't purchased petro in one year and counting. I also try to help me close friends become better people and allow them to help me become a better person. I cannot wait to see who I decide on in November. It won't matter, but it will be a fun process filled with 0% hate.

I have a 30 minute commute to work, 20 minute drive to the nearest Supermarket, 40 minute drive to the closest ER, and 10 min. drive to the bank and PO box. Can't all be blessed to live in small towns.Yeah I need a car to live.

15 min bike (40 min walk to work). I've been hit by car 4 weeks ago. Wal-mart is 25 min by bike, I can only carry a backpack full. The Trader Joe's (organic/natural grocery store) is a convenient one-mile away, all others 2-3 miles away. I moved to a city to enable me to become car-less. Urban sprawl is bad and I encourage everyone to find alternatives. But I don't mean to preach. I am fulfilled and happy and I earn pathetic wages at my 4 jobs (8.50 to 12$ per hour). But I'm happy and proud.

No, actually. Besides, that would be unfair and horribly sleazy of me. The timing is just a fortuitous coincidence. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. Hence why she is unaware and will remain in such a state for a little while. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think they will sing to me." -T.S. Still not as good as the Post-WWI Reichmarks, which were 24B to 1 at one point. They're catching up though.

What, now your lights come back on now? quote: Originally posted by Mr.C: Ouch.
Oof. Nice currency. The reichmarks comment reminds me of that picture with the lady lighting a fire with money, because the money burns longer than the firewood it would buy. __________________ This message brought to you by MOTL's very own fancy biologist.
