I am a 36 year old man, I play magic on a weekly basis. Most of the people I play with are from 13yrs. Old to 25 years old. I am looked up to and respected by each and every one of them. I Influence them every time I come into contact with them. Alot of the Parents leave their kids at the Local shop because I am there. This is a responsibility I do not take litely. So Please, Do not take yours litely. I would wager that almost all of the male(maybe even female) players who replied have one time or another have participated in a conversation where women or minorities or GEEKS are the brunt of Off-color remarks. It happens and for the most part is not taken seriousely. But, Next time look left and look right and see how many young Magic Players you are influencing. Magic is growing, More and more young kids are jumping on board and its fun to see. Please keep these things in mind.

well i am usually pretty calm, and i joke around a lot, and that is how people know me.

on this sturday there was an extra large amount of people there and player in particular, Jeffery, begain his match by telling my that jen was a "hottie" has he put it. this immediatly made me mad. The game went on, Jeffery, would look twords Jen, and ocasionaly make a rude comments, that i think were a little obseen, all of the sudden out of know where, (i had been ignoring him) i hear, "she looks like a good ****, i bet.. (he never finished the htought)" i look up and sure enough Jen is the only girl in the room (she was watching the tv)

well all of the sudden i was no longer calm, i became very mad, the first thing i did was to drag him out of his chair onto the table, and then slid him onto the floor, where after falling a couple of feet unto his back, droped a knee to his chest, and had the (sorta) fight broken up to, get this, take it out side. That was it, nothing else happened, we walked out side, he broke my $50 glasses (seeing of couse, and up they were cheap) and me being 6' 215 lb, did a little more damage to the pudgy little 18 year old, i dislocated his sholder, broke a his coller bone, and basicaly he had to be sent away in a ambulance, did i want to do that to him, not really he just wouldnt stop trying to fight me, until i broke his coller bone.

I didnt have a problem with judges here in town (find one that is over level 1 it hink there is only one and he moved )

i by the way am 18 now, and that is the only fight i have been in with any magic player, ohh and there was a reason why he started in on Jen like he did, apperently i had done something to him in the past, even though he wouldnt explain what that was.
